Lista DAO is a DeFi protocol that combines BNB liquid staking with an over-collateralized debt position (CDP) model, enabling users to stake BNB to receive slisBNB and simultaneously borrow the USD-pegged stablecoin lisUSD. Lista DAO aims to address liquidity efficiency challenges and drive increased adoption of BNB in the DeFi space. The platform is supported by Binance Labs, which has invested $10 million, establishing Lista DAO as foundational infrastructure within the BNB ecosystem.

Since LISTA’s Token Generation Event (TGE) launched on Binance on June 20, 2024, the token’s market performance has drawn substantial investor attention. LISTA has a total supply of 1 billion tokens, with an initial circulating supply of 230 million, representing 23% of the total. The allocation is as follows:

The community incentives will be released gradually over 20 years, following a 1/√2 decay model, with 540,000 LISTA currently distributed per week. The protocol subjects tokens allocated to investors and the team to a one-year lock-up. Then, it releases them linearly on a quarterly basis to promote lasting stability.
veLISTA Model and Governance Mechanism
Lista DAO has adopted the veToken model (veLISTA) to incentivize long-term holding and empower community governance:
- Users can lock LISTA for up to 52 weeks to receive veLISTA;
- veLISTA holders can participate in governance voting and share in platform revenue (including early unlock fees, borrowing interest, ETH withdrawal fees, and more);
- The platform distributes rewards weekly on Thursdays, which may include LISTA, BNB, lisUSD, WBETH, slisBNB, and others;
- Users can choose to extend their lock-up period or pay an early unlock fee to exit their position.
Lista DAO drew inspiration from the Curve veCRV model to align user and protocol interests while advancing decentralized governance.
Development Progress and Future Potential
Since launch, Lista DAO has introduced the ListaPie module, innovation zone, and multiple protocol collaborations, further expanding its ecosystem. The platform now supports core features such as CDP-based lending, BNB liquid staking, and stablecoin stabilization mechanisms, demonstrating strong real-world application capabilities.
Looking ahead, as slisBNB and lisUSD are integrated into more use cases, demand for LISTA is expected to increase.
