Gate Futures Points are an activity metric generated from user behavior in futures accounts, reflecting engagement on the platform. Accumulate more points to access a wider selection of redeemable rewards.

Points Validity and Rules
Gate will keep Futures Points valid for 15 days from issuance; they will then expire automatically. The system prioritizes usage of points nearing expiration, so users should check their accounts regularly and participate in events promptly.
How to Earn Gate Futures Points
Gate Futures Points can be earned through several channels, grouped into three main categories:
- Trading Points: For every daily futures trading volume of 400 USDT, users earn 1 point. Higher trading volume means more points. The platform uses a tiered system for point distribution with no cap. For example, a trading volume of 13,107,200 USDT earns 16 points.
- Balance Points: The system takes daily snapshots of users’ USDT and BTC balances in their futures accounts. Points are awarded based on asset tiers. $100 ≤ balance < $1,000: 1 point/day; $1,000 ≤ balance < $10,000: 2 points/day; $10,000 ≤ balance < $100,000: 3 points/day; ≥ $100,000: 4 points/day.
- Invitation Points: Successfully inviting new users to participate in events earns extra points, up to 3 points per day.
