CME Fed Watch: 87.6% probability of maintaining interest rates in April, 12.4% probability of a 25bp rate increase

Gate News reports that on March 23, CME’s “Federal Reserve Watch” tool shows a 12.4% chance of a 25 basis point rate hike by the Federal Reserve in April, and an 87.6% chance of holding rates steady. The probability of a total 25 basis point increase by June is 21.9%, a 50 basis point increase is 1.6%, and the chance of keeping rates unchanged is 76.5%.
