Aave will vote on whether to suspend token buybacks to prioritize resolving the rsETH issue.
Odaily Planet Daily reports that the Snapshot page shows that Aave ecosystem service provider TokenLogic has initiated a governance proposal regarding “whether to pause AAVE buybacks.”
The proposal recommends suspending the AAVE buyback program until the follow-up situation of the rsETH incident becomes clear, and the timing for resuming buybacks will be evaluated separately.
Voting will begin tomorrow (April 28) and end on May 1.
