Netizen Submission:

My mother-in-law has always been proud that my eldest sister-in-law, in 2006 when she went to college, only spent 400 yuan on monthly living expenses. I always thought it was probably because the food back then was cheap.
During the Mid-Autumn Festival, my eldest sister-in-law came back and said she was recently sorting through her college stuff, finding several scholarship receipts. If it weren't for the thousands of yuan in aid each semester, she wouldn't have finished college at all.
My mother-in-law was silent and said, "Then why didn't you tell the family that your living expenses weren't enough?" My eldest sister-in-law didn't say anything.
I joked that if she told the family about the scholarship, her 400 yuan monthly living expenses would be gone.
