GateNews

Gate News message, April 26 — Following a shooting incident at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, Trump responded to questions about why such events have occurred multiple times, stating that the most influential and impactful people throughout history have been targets of assassination attempts.

Trump said he has studied historical assassination cases and noted that all the major figures who were either targeted or successfully assassinated shared significant influence and impact. “They don’t target people who do nothing,” Trump remarked, adding that while he is reluctant to say it, being a target of assassination is “a kind of honor” for him.
