Jensen Huang: AI Won't Destroy Enterprise Software, Will Bring 100x Growth in Agent Calls

Gate News reports that on March 20, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang refuted the claim that “AI will destroy the enterprise software industry” during an All-In podcast interview. He pointed out that the current growth ceiling for enterprise software is “the number of seats charged per person,” but the AI era will bring an entirely opposite result: “Tools like SQL, Blender, and Photoshop are about to see a hundredfold increase in agent concurrency calls.” Huang said these tools are very effective and are the final channel for humans to verify and control results, “I need to bring everything back to Synopsys (EDA software company) and Cadence (EDA software company) because that’s how I perform ground-truth validation.” He believes that the enterprise software industry has historically been limited by manpower constraints, but the agent era will reverse this constraint into a growth flywheel.
