Iran: Ships of all countries except enemy vessels may pass through the Strait of Hormuz after coordination.

Gate News Report, March 22 — According to Iran’s Mehr News Agency, Iran’s representative to the International Maritime Organization issued a statement saying that Iran is ready to cooperate with the IMO and various countries to enhance maritime safety and protect seafarers. Except for hostile vessels, ships from all countries can pass through the Strait of Hormuz after coordinated safety and security arrangements. The representative also stated that attacks by the United States and Israel are the root cause of the current situation in the Strait of Hormuz.
