Gate News message, on April 11, Circle released a cross-chain interoperability infrastructure roadmap. According to the disclosure, Circle’s cross-chain transfer protocol CCTP has processed more than $110 billion in USDC transfers since it went live in April 2023, and it currently supports over 20 blockchains. In March, Circle Gateway processed $400 million in monthly volume and enables users to access a unified USDC balance across 12 chains at a speed of less than 500 milliseconds. Regarding the roadmap, CCTP plans to expand its supported scope from USDC to Circle-issued assets such as EURC, USYC, and cirBTC later this year, and to open access to third-party asset issuers. The Arc chain will serve as an institutional-level hub for RWA asset issuance and liquidity orchestration. Circle also disclosed in-development products including the Deposit Kit, Circle Fee Service, Circle Workflows, and a USDC Bridge for individual users, aiming to simplify the development and execution of cross-chain workflows.
