A major whale address liquidated nearly $10 million worth of WTI crude oil short positions within an hour, raising the total position to $23.13 million.

Gate News reports that on March 12, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, on March 13, a large account address (0x985f…) continuously liquidated its short positions in CL (WTI Crude Oil, U.S. West Texas Intermediate) within one hour, increasing its holdings by approximately 95,000 contracts, with a total value of about $9.13 million. After this intensive accumulation, its total CL short position value rose from around $14 million to $23.13 million, and the average position price increased from $87.89 to $90.39. As of the last operation, the position had an unrealized loss of about $764,000, a loss of 6.46%. Currently, the CL price is $93.48, with a liquidation price of $137.82.
