BlockBeats News, on August 1st, according to Cointelegraph, Anita Dunn, a senior advisor to US President Biden, is about to leave the White House and join a political action committee (PAC) that supports Kamala Harris, the 2024 Democratic presidential candidate. The PAC, named Future Forward, plans to invest at least $300 million in supporting Harris’ campaign. It is worth noting that Dunn had previously met with representatives from the cryptocurrency industry as an individual, to discuss digital asset regulation issues, but it is unclear whether she will be involved in encryption-related work in the PAC. In addition, former FTX executives had provided funds to another PAC that supports Democratic candidates in the 2022 midterm elections, but some of the funds may be confiscated by the court. According to regulations, political action committees are not allowed to coordinate activities directly with political candidates.
