Michael Saylor: Bitcoin is still in the "amateur radio" era, but the iPhone moment is bound to come.

Radio used to be a backyard hobby for geeks—setting up antennas, building equipment, and broadcasting to each other in clubs. Then we put it into 6 billion phones and filled teenagers’ feeds with TikTok. The commercialization was so successful that regulations had to be introduced to limit usage time. No one says they are “using radio,” but everyone is scrolling.

Saylor believes Bitcoin is heading down the same path. Today’s Bitcoin community is made up of enthusiasts, believers, and tech geeks; but one day, 8 billion people’s phones will hold digital assets—stablecoins, store-of-value coins, crypto securities—flowing as naturally as mobile payments, with no one caring about the underlying technology.
