DUBAI, UAE — Blockchain for Good Alliance (BGA), a global non-profit initiative founded by Bybit, has announced a new partnership with FLock.io, a decentralised, privacy-first AI platform. The collaboration aims to explore initiatives at the intersection of decentralised artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, and public-good use cases, marking a strategic shift from a “Blockchain for Good” focus toward a broader “Blockchain and AI for Good” mission.
As part of the agreement, FLock.io has been named BGA’s Strategic AI Partner. In this role, FLock.io will work closely with projects across the BGA ecosystem, providing advisory and technical support where appropriate. The partnership will also explore opportunities to integrate FLock.io’s API platform and its FOMO AI marketplace into initiatives aligned with BGA’s social-impact objectives.
Expanding Access to Privacy-Preserving AI
FLock.io Founder and CEO Jiahao Sun said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to developing decentralised AI systems that deliver real-world value. He emphasized that by working with BGA’s global network, FLock.io aims to support builders and institutions with open, privacy-preserving AI solutions that align incentives while expanding access to responsible AI technologies.
The collaboration is expected to extend beyond the private sector, with both organisations exploring joint initiatives involving academic institutions, research organisations, and public-sector bodies worldwide. These efforts may include educational programs, research collaborations, and pilot projects focused on applying AI and blockchain technologies for societal benefit.
Germany Tour Highlights Early Joint Initiative
One of the first initiatives under the partnership is the Blockchain and AI for Good Impact Germany Tour, scheduled for early 2026. The non-profit, education-driven program is designed to encourage Web3 and AI innovation for social good across leading German universities. The initiative will feature on-campus events, mentoring and advisory support, and hands-on project development, with student teams building blockchain and AI solutions aimed at addressing real-world challenges.
The program will culminate in presentations at German Blockchain & AI Week 2026, where selected teams will pitch their projects to a panel of industry leaders, policymakers, and academics. Winning teams will receive awards and continued support to advance their solutions beyond the academic environment.
Shared Vision for Global Social Impact
Glenn Tan, Director of Global Affairs at BGA, said the partnership with FLock.io underscores the alliance’s ambition to champion blockchain-powered AI initiatives that generate meaningful global impact. He noted that FLock.io’s focus on federated learning and blockchain-based AI aligns closely with BGA’s goal of making advanced technologies safer, more accessible, and more effective for public-good applications.
Beyond the Germany tour, BGA and FLock.io plan to collaborate on additional events and community initiatives designed to engage developers, researchers, and industry stakeholders working on AI-for-Good and Blockchain-for-Good use cases, further strengthening the global ecosystem around responsible decentralised innovation.
