According to Jinse Finance, the Chinese lead for China-US economic and trade relations, Vice Premier He Lifeng, held a video call with the US leads, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Trade Representative Katherine Tai. The two sides discussed the implementation of the important consensus reached at the Busan meeting between the Chinese and US presidents and the phone call on November 24, and conducted in-depth and constructive exchanges on the next steps for practical cooperation and properly addressing each other’s concerns in the economic and trade sectors. Both parties gave positive evaluations of the implementation of the outcomes from the China-US economic and trade consultations in Kuala Lumpur, and stated that, under the strategic guidance of the two presidents, they would continue to make good use of the China-US economic and trade consultation mechanism, continuously expand the cooperation list and reduce the list of issues, and promote the sustained and stable improvement of China-US economic and trade relations.
