The Iranian side stated: “No Iranian official has ever asked to bow and scrape in front of the White House. More despicable than his lies is his cowardly threat—to ‘clear’ Iran’s supreme leader.” The article stated, “Iran will respond to any threat with counter-threats and will take reciprocal measures against any actions.”
