Karony stated that he is innocent and “did not commit fraud,” which is a response to media reports about his trial. Former CEO of SafeMoon, Karony, along with SafeMoon founder Kyle Nagy and former CTO Thomas Smith, were charged in 2023 for allegedly “misappropriating and misusing platform SFM Token worth millions of dollars.”
