Camp’s core philosophy is to treat intellectual property (IP) as a core primitive and leverages the Proof of Provenance (PoP) protocol to solve problems including unauthorized use, revenue leakage, and lack of transparency.

What Is Camp Network?

(Source: campnetworkxyz)

Camp Network (CAMP) is a Layer-1 blockchain specifically engineered for AI and intellectual property (IP), designed to make user-owned content—such as music, videos, code, and even personal data—a true foundation of value within the Web3 landscape.

At Camp’s core is the principle of treating IP as a core component, not as a secondary component. This reflects Camp’s ambition to foster a fundamentally new form of collaboration between IP and AI in the future.

Why Does the Market Need Camp Network?

AI’s rapid evolution is transforming the creator economy. As generalized models become commoditized, genuine value will be concentrated in proprietary, traceable, and user-owned IP. Camp Network addresses several key challenges:

  • Lack of Authorization: Most AI training data originates from unauthorized content.
  • Revenue Loss: Derivative applications and the broader AI ecosystem often fail to fairly compensate creators.
  • Transparency Gaps: The current web lacks clear records of content usage and copyright attribution.

Camp answers these with the Proof of Provenance (PoP) protocol—a next-generation on-chain mechanism enabling registration, verification, authorization, and monetization of all forms of IP.

Proof of Provenance (PoP) Protocol

The PoP protocol is founded on the idea that provenance is not just about protecting IP—it is the bedrock of a digital economy. Its operational features include:

  • On-chain Registration: IP is logged on-chain, preserving origination and ownership details.
  • Authorization Tracking: Usage rights and terms are automatically enforceable and fully transparent.
  • Derivative Creation: Supports remixing, derivative works, or licensing for reuse—all within a contractual framework.
  • Revenue Sharing: Automated royalty mechanisms ensure fair payment to contributors.

What sets PoP apart is its executable provenance—going beyond mere source marking—integrating seamlessly with Camp’s AI Agent framework to enable a verifiable, monetizable, and reusable IP ecosystem.

Combining On-chain IP and AI Agents

Camp Network’s PoP protocol is anchored by two main components:

1. Origin Framework

  • Simplifies the process of onboarding IP to the blockchain, allowing users to quickly register their creations.
  • Supports IPNFTs, marketplaces, and dispute modules to ensure IP can be traded, licensed, and protected with built-in dispute resolution.
  • Integrates with third-party platforms (Spotify, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) through APIs for seamless cross-platform data connectivity.

2. mAItrix Framework

  • Delivers a comprehensive framework for deploying and managing AI Agents.
  • Enables agents to train on-chain and automatically generate derivative content based on user-owned IP.
  • Ensures all interactions and learning are fully transparent and auditable, safeguarding against misuse and infringement.

On Camp, creators can register their IP, empower AI Agents for derivative creation, and rely on automated authorization and revenue-sharing mechanisms to guarantee proper reward.

Camp Network Technical Architecture

To surpass the latency and congestion limitations of traditional Layer-1 solutions, Camp adopts a dual-layer design:

  • BaseCAMP: The core Layer-1 chain, dedicated to IP management and fundamental security.
  • SideCAMPs: Application-specific chains, each providing isolated compute and block space for an app, with final settlement on BaseCAMP.

This structure delivers several key benefits:

  • Dedicated Resources: Each application chain enjoys isolated resources, eliminating competition and ensuring resilience.
  • Application-level transaction sequencing: Developers maintain control of transaction order and block production.
  • Cross-chain Security: Decentralized Validator Networks (DVNs) guarantee secure cross-chain operations.
  • Developer Enablement: Supports multiple execution environments (such as Solana VM and Cosmos WASM), significantly improving scalability.

This architectural approach makes Camp more than a simple blockchain—it is high-performance infrastructure specifically designed for AI-native applications and the creator economy.

CAMP Tokenomics

The CAMP token is the backbone of the entire ecosystem, serving several core functions:

  • Facilitating IP registration and tokenization.
  • Enabling authorization, royalty distribution, and payment flows.
  • Providing staking and governance rights, empowering holders to shape network governance.
  • Incentivizing developers, creators, and AI-native applications.

The Camp Foundation’s strategic goal is to build a governance model. CAMP token holders collaborate to advance network growth while protecting and enabling IP security, authorization, and utility.

CAMP spot trading will officially launch on August 27, 2025, at 17:00 (UTC+8). To explore more Web3 content, register at: https://www.gate.com/

Summary

Camp Network’s vision is to redefine the future of AI and the creator economy. It is more than just a Layer-1 blockchain—Camp is AI-native infrastructure built around IP, where IP becomes the true foundation of the digital era. As AI and Web3 converge, Camp Network is positioned to be the driving force of the next creator economy, ensuring creative value is properly attributed and distributed, and catalyzing a more transparent, equitable, and vibrant digital world.

Aster vs Hyperliquid: Which Perp DEX Will Prevail?

Aster and Hyperliquid are the two representative protocols of the "purpose-built L1 path" within the current decentralized perpetual exchange (Perp DEX) sector. As a pioneer in the field, Hyperliquid has built a deep liquidity moat through its highly mature order book architecture and strong community consensus. Conversely, Aster, as a rising challenger, seeks to leapfrog the competition in high-performance trading through more aggressive multi-chain aggregation logic, private transaction modules, and an underlying execution environment optimized for 2026 market demands.

AI-Native Settlement Layers: How United Stables Is Building the Next Financial Rail

Stablecoins were originally designed as dollar substitutes within exchanges, primarily used for asset pricing and trade settlement. As on-chain financial ecosystems have matured, their role has expanded beyond simple payments to include collateral assets, cross-chain liquidity mediums, and unified settlement units. In particular, as AI systems and automated agents begin to participate directly in economic activity, demand has risen sharply for programmable value units capable of instant settlement. This shift is pushing stablecoins toward the role of foundational financial infrastructure.
