Odaily Planet Daily reports that asset management giant BlackRock is launching an Ethereum ETF that supports staking. The iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHB) will begin trading on Nasdaq this Thursday. The fund will hold physical Ethereum and allocate part of its assets to network staking, allowing investors to gain ETH price exposure while potentially earning staking rewards. ETHB is BlackRock’s third crypto ETF and its first product to incorporate staking. Previously, the company launched the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) and iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA), with IBIT managing over $55 billion in assets and ETHA approximately $6.5 billion. BlackRock stated that introducing staking aims to meet the demand from some investors who want to earn returns while maintaining the traditional financial advantages of ETFs in custody, trading, and asset allocation.
