According to PayPal’s official announcement, the company has restructured its business into three core divisions: Payment Checkout & PayPal, Consumer Financial Services & Venmo, and Cryptocurrency & Payment Services. The newly independent Cryptocurrency & Payment Services division consolidates payment processing, platform capabilities, and crypto operations including Braintree, merchant payment processing, value-added services, and stablecoin PYUSD. Jeff Pomeroy has been appointed interim head of the division.
