According to Iranian parliamentary member Mojtaba Zareei on May 3, negotiations in Islamabad require explicit permission from Iran’s Supreme Leader, and all discussion content must remain within the framework set by the Supreme Leader. When the U.S. attempted to discuss nuclear technology details, the Iranian delegation was informed that the Supreme Leader has prohibited technical discussions on this matter, with all future decisions to be made solely by the Supreme Leader. Additionally, Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization chief has been barred from joining the negotiation team.
