ASTER-1.93%

Gate News message, April 28 — Japanese crypto exchange Bitbank has partnered with EPOS Card, the fintech arm of Marui Group, to launch the “EPOS Crypto Card for Bitbank,” marking Japan’s first credit card that enables direct settlement from crypto exchange balances. The card allows users to automatically pay their credit card bills in bitcoin (BTC) from their Bitbank accounts.

Cardholders earn 0.5% in crypto cashback rewards based on monthly spending, with the option to receive rewards in bitcoin, ether, or Aster. All rewards are deposited directly into users’ Bitbank accounts. For now, BTC settlement is limited to bitcoin, though the two companies plan to consider expanding support for a wider range of cryptocurrencies.
