Gate News-Nachricht, 27. April — Israels Verteidigungsminister Yoav Gallant sagte am 27. April, dass ein Waffenstillstand im Libanon unmöglich sei, solange israelische Streitkräfte weiterhin angegriffen würden, bei einem Treffen mit der UN-Sonderkoordinatorin für den Libanon Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert. Gallant warnte außerdem den Hezbollah-Führer Qassem Soleimani und sagte, er „spiele mit dem Feuer“.

Gallant forderte, dass die libanesische Regierung zunächst sicherstellt, dass Hezbollah sich südlich des Litani-Flusses entwaffnet und dann im gesamten Land.
