ETH 大多頭 Tom Lee 去年 11 月接受媒體訪問預測表示，BTC 會在 2026 年一月再創新高，而他存倉最多的 ETH 將在一月漲破 7,000 – 9,000 美元。但剛剛一月結束，結果 BTC 在一月最後一天，跌破重要的 8 萬美元關口，甚至曾一度跌破 7.5 萬，而 ETH 表現更差，不單失守 3,000 美元，甚至跌破了 2,300 美元。市場慘淡，他也沒有再作預測，而他剩下的預測，就只剩下 2026 年底 BTC 最起碼達到 20 萬、 ETH 則漲至 1.2 萬美元這兩項。
Tom Lee 的依據是從過去加密貨幣市場週期而推論出來，確實依照過去比特幣四年週期，今年初加密貨幣該迎來新一波漲勢，但去年已經很多分析師都表示，比特幣的「四年週期論」可能已經失效，從結果來看，目前幾乎可以肯定，加密貨幣在短期內很難再出現像樣的升勢，其中包括 Tom Lee 預計代幣化經濟落地而出現的 ETH 超級週期，隨著美國 CLARITY 法案遇阻力，看似也遙遙無期。
