The market has been in a sideways trend for the past week before the new year. Trading during the holidays can be dull, but sometimes there can be significant fluctuations for no apparent reason. This is due to decreased liquidity, so if anyone plans to trade over the weekend, don't forget to be cautious. By January 14, a decision should be made to raise the US national debt ceiling. If the decision is delayed, there is a possibility of another sell-off. On January 20, Trump is expected to take office as the President of the United States. There is a possibility of profit-taking on the event, but personally, I don't expect any major sell-offs. At least not on this particular event. I am currently concerned about the withdrawal of money from BTC ETF and the symbolic rise in loan rates, but I maintain a long-term positive view of crypto. Perhaps in 2025, the geopolitical situation will remain tense, perhaps a new round of trade wars will begin, and inflation will continue to rise, perhaps new risks will emerge, but crypto will survive. Crypto will mature as an asset. Despite all the declines, the acceptance of crypto continues to grow.
