According to PANews, the listed Japanese company Metaplanet Inc. announced the issuance of the fourth series of ordinary bonds, with a total amount of 4.5 billion yen (about 30 million U.S. dollars), to accelerate the purchase of BTC.
The bond annual interest rate is zero and is expected to mature on June 16, 2025. The redemption funds will be paid through the exercise of previously issued warrants.
Metaplanet plans to further expand its capital operation capability in the future through multiple issuances, with a total maximum of 5 billion yen of private placement bonds.
