On July 30th, Golden Ten Data reported that Berkshire Hathaway, owned by Buffett, disclosed that it has sold over $3 billion worth of Bank of America stocks for the third time this month. Berkshire Hathaway has been the largest shareholder of Bank of America since 2011. According to the documents submitted to regulatory agencies on Monday, Berkshire Hathaway sold $767 million worth of Bank of America stocks from July 25th to July 29th. Including the previous sales this month, Berkshire Hathaway has reduced its holdings by a total of 6.9%. However, the documents show that Berkshire Hathaway still holds nearly 962 million shares of Bank of America stocks, which are valued at $39.5 billion based on the Closing Price on Monday.
