Sun Tzu said in the Art of War, "The victory is in the enemy, and the defeat is in me." The real investment is to make the "controllable" factor to the extreme. The undefeated end is, of course, victory. The pursuit of uncontrollable "offense" in stocks is itself the pursuit of "flowers in the mirror", and trading must first think about how not to lose, rather than how to make money!
