A survey released by the New York Fed on Monday showed that U.S. consumers' near-term inflation expectations fell to their lowest level since April 2021 in November. Median inflation expectations for the year ahead fell to 3.4% from 3.6% in October, the second consecutive month of decline. Inflation expectations for the next three years and the next five years are stable at 3% and 2.7%, respectively.
