Gate's #GateWCTCS8 is already in its eighth season this year, with a total prize pool of 8 million US dollars, making it one of the most generous trading competitions.

Each track has its own gameplay:
Over 5,500 teams are participating in the team competition, with 1.8 million US dollars up for grabs in the first half;
The individual competition ranks based on different trading categories, sharing 2 million US dollars;
The King’s PK is a real-time duel, directly awarding 1.6 million US dollars. If you like 1v1 battles, you can focus on this track.
The prize pool has already unlocked 850k US dollars, but a large portion is still locked, because the prize pool is dynamically unlocked based on the number of participants—more people mean a bigger pool. The next tier requires 10,000 active traders. The event runs until May 20, and the window period is not short.
There’s a detail in the algorithm I think is worth mentioning: trading volume from spot + ETF + Convert is weighted at 1.5 times, while contracts count as 1 time.
That means if you’re already trading spot, signing up for the competition is equivalent to earning 1.5 times the points for rewards, with almost zero additional cost.
