According to People, after previously being involved in a meme coin lawsuit related to the Believe platform, Believe founder Ben Pasternak was arrested in New York on charges of second-degree strangulation and assault, and has pleaded not guilty. The case is scheduled to be reconvened on June 11. Public reports indicate that the related charges stem from a conflict with his ex-girlfriend Evelyn Ha on March 31. Prosecutors stated that Ben Pasternak was residing at the Baccarat Hotel in New York at the time, with an overnight rate of about $2,000, partly to avoid service of civil litigation related to his crypto project Believe.
