Wu said that, according to analyst Yu Jin's monitoring, the hacker who stole approximately $98 million worth of assets from Balancer in November last year has recently started laundering money. The hacker is converting ETH to BTC through THORChain, and has already exchanged 14,300 ETH for 419.3 BTC (about $32.51 million). Currently, the hacker's address still holds 7,700 ETH and 419.3 BTC, with a total value of approximately $50.4 million. Due to recent declines in ETH prices, the fiat value of the stolen assets has significantly decreased. Previously, the KelpDAO hacker also used the same method to convert over 70k ETH into BTC.
