Based on BlackRock and ETF capital inflow data, IBIT recorded net inflows for nine consecutive trading days; during this period, it added roughly 21,500 BTC, and its total holdings first exceeded 800k BTC. Recent single-day inflow records are as follows: April 15: $291.9 million, and April 10: $269.3 million.
In Q1 2026, over 62 trading days, IBIT had net inflows on 48 days; the total net inflows for the quarter are estimated to reach $8.4 billion. According to ETF capital inflow data, IBIT currently controls about 49% of total assets of U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, ahead of Fidelity’s FBTC and Grayscale’s GBTC.
According to public data, Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) holds 815,061 BTC, surpassing IBIT to regain its position as the world’s largest corporate Bitcoin holder. This marks the recovery of the leading position that it lost in Q2 2024. Strategy is led by Michael Saylor and added 13,927 BTC in a single day on April 13, with a market value of approximately $1 billion.
According to ETF capital flow data, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs reversed the outflow situation from the past four months, recording net inflows for four consecutive weeks, with cumulative net inflows of approximately $2.0 billion; IBIT contributed about $1.7 billion during this period.
According to a revised S-1 filing submitted by BlackRock to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), BlackRock plans to launch a Bitcoin yield ETF code-named BITA, intending to generate yield through a Covered Call strategy linked to IBIT.
