🔥US Media: U.S. says Vance will lead a delegation to Islamabad to restart negotiations, Iran suspects it is a "cover for a surprise attack"

According to AXIOS, U.S. officials revealed that Vice President Vance will lead a delegation to Islamabad to hold a new round of talks with Iran before the Tuesday night ceasefire expires, aiming to reach an agreement or extend the ceasefire. Iran has not confirmed its participation and is concerned that this is entirely a ploy by the White House. Trump expressed optimism during a call, stating that the concept of the agreement has been completed, but Iran lowered expectations, suspecting that Trump's talk of an agreement might be a cover for a U.S. surprise attack. Iran's state news agency denied plans for talks, pointing out that the Trump administration's demands are unreasonable and their stance is unpredictable, making the prospects for negotiations uncertain. It is currently unclear when the talks will begin or when Vance will leave Washington.
