🔥 Trump says U.S. Marine Corps has taken control of Iranian vessel attempting to break through blockade

On April 20, President Trump tweeted that a cargo ship named TOUSKA, flying the Iranian flag (nearly 900 feet long and weighing almost as much as an aircraft carrier), attempted to break through the U.S. naval blockade. The U.S. Spruance-class destroyer intercepted the vessel in the Gulf of Oman and issued warnings; when the Iranian crew refused to comply, U.S. Navy ships drilled holes in the engine room to stop its progress. The U.S. Marine Corps has now seized the ship. The TOUSKA vessel was previously sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury for illegal activities. Trump stated that the U.S. has full control of the ship and is inspecting the items on board.
