$BTC $ETH Trump has come up with another crazy bad move: to block the Strait of Hormuz? Just wait—he’ll end up shooting himself in the foot!
Trump is panicking! Starting April 13, will the U.S. military block the Strait of Hormuz? Don’t be ridiculous—this move is “spoiled” to the core.
Here’s how it went: Iran gave some countries the green light and even rolled out “paid passage.” Envious, Trump followed suit. What’s even more humiliating is that he went to Islamabad to seek talks with Iran about cooperation—wanting to set up a joint venture company and charge fees together—but Iran flatly rejected him to his face. With no place to put his pride, in a moment of desperation, he only then let out harsh threats about a blockade.
But can this move work? If the United States really forces the issue, the consequences will be serious:
First, Iran’s navy is not to be underestimated. A clash at sea could break out at any time, and a two-week ceasefire would immediately fall apart.
Second, China and Iran have a close relationship—China’s cargo ships are still cleared by Iran. If Trump dares to touch China’s interests, be careful—China could choke him with rare earths! Then would Trump still want to come to China to talk big deals? No chance.
Third, global oil prices will surge, the economy will be hurt, and all the resentment will be aimed at Trump.
In plain terms, Trump’s move is like a kid throwing a tantrum. He already took a hit on February 28—didn’t he later have to swallow his pride and back down? Is he doing it again? Block the Strait of Hormuz? If it were really possible to block it, the U.S. military would have taken control long ago.
Just wait and see. After the anger and backlash, Trump will still have to find his own way to save face. By then, even China won’t be bothered to help him—good show is still coming!
