I just saw that Bitwise wants to launch ETFs focused on prediction markets for the Estados Unidos presidential elections in 2026 and 2028. Quite an interesting idea, honestly. So basically, they would be allowing investors to indirectly bet on election outcomes through exchange-traded funds.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this kind of product in the crypto space, but for an established asset manager like Bitwise to launch with this says something about how the market is evolving. Prediction markets have been gaining traction for years, and now it seems they want to bring them more into the mainstream.
The question is whether this manages to pass the regulatory filters. We know what things have been like with the SEC lately. Do you think this will succeed or end up being another project left in regulatory limbo?
