I remember how Bitcoin's price started to grow significantly in 2015. I just checked, and back then, the price first broke the psychological mark of $450. The opening of the day was around $400 and some change, and then it literally soared by 12.5% to $450.60. Not a bad jump for a single day.
Looking back at how Bitcoin's price developed in 2015, the picture becomes interesting. Just a month ago, in early October, the price was at $238. So, in a month, it increased by almost 90% — that's a serious move. Even over three months, starting from August, there was a +58% growth.
Since the beginning of the year, Bitcoin's price in 2015 has increased by 43% — from $313 in January to over $450 now. By the way, there was an unpleasant moment in January — the price dropped to $177, but then recovered. It's interesting to see how these historical movements look on a chart when viewed in retrospect.
