Sources say Iran has set "preconditions" for reaching a "lasting peace" agreement with the U.S.

An Iranian source on the 7th stated that Iran refuses to reach “any temporary ceasefire” with the United States. The unnamed Iranian official said that Iran has set “preconditions” for reaching a “lasting peace” agreement with the U.S., including the enemy immediately ceasing attacks on Iran, promising not to attack Iran again, and compensating Iran for damages. He said the peace agreement should allow Iran to charge fees for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. (CCTV News)
