ME News report, April 5 (UTC+8). The Central Anti-Corruption Coordination Group’s Office for International Fugitive Recovery and Cross-Border Corruption Governance held a meeting to launch the “Sky Net 2026” action. Specifically, the National Supervisory Commission will take the lead in launching a special campaign to pursue and recover illicit assets overseas and recover losses related to duty-related crimes committed abroad; the Ministry of Public Security will launch a special “Fox Hunt” campaign; the People’s Bank of China, in conjunction with the Ministry of Public Security, will launch a special campaign to prevent and combat the transfer of illicit funds abroad using offshore companies and underground banks; and the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, together with the Ministry of Public Security and the National Immigration Administration, will focus on strengthening management of “naked officials” in their posts and addressing issues of public officials going abroad (overseas) for private reasons in violation of regulations.
