Just noticed Vitalik Buterin dumping another batch of ether while the market's already struggling. Dude moved 1,869 ETH in the last couple days, around $3.67M worth. He'd withdrawn 3,500 ether from Aave before that, so clearly liquidating on a larger scale. ETH dropped nearly 3% in 48 hours and hit a 20-day low around $1,844 early this week. Current price is hovering around $2.25K now. Buterin news keeps making headlines because of this ecosystem funding plan he announced back in January. He's supposed to sell off 16,384 ether total to support development work while the Ethereum Foundation tightens its belt. Since early February, he's already moved over 8,000 ether according to on-chain data. The thing is, even with Vitalik news dominating the conversation, he's still sitting on over 224,000 ether worth around $429M. Other whales like the ShapeShift founder are actually buying up some of what he's selling, so it's not like the market's completely rejecting the supply. Interesting to watch how this vitalik buterin news plays out - could be a longer-term pressure point or just noise depending on how the broader market moves.
