Before the Iran war:

🔸 The Strait of Hormuz was open to global commerce, allowing ships to transit freely.
🔹 The U.S.–GCC alliance was fully intact, with the United States providing credible security guarantees to Gulf states.
Now:
🔸 The Strait of Hormuz is effectively controlled by Iran and is no longer freely accessible.
🔹 The U.S.–GCC alliance has fractured, and Gulf states increasingly realize that the United States cannot fully guarantee their security.
How anyone can call this a victory for the U.S. is mind blowing.
