Iran Rejects Trump's Peace Proposal, Puts Forth 5 Strict Conditions to End Conflict

Iran has formally rejected a 15-point peace plan proposal from U.S. President Donald Trump that was previously conveyed through Pakistan. The Iranian government views the demands in the American proposal as excessive. They also asserted that they will not allow President Trump to dictate the timing or terms for when this war should end.

As a form of rejection, Iran has established five main conditions that must be met to end the conflict. These conditions include the immediate cessation of all attacks and assassination operations against Iran, as well as concrete guarantees that the U.S. will not carry out attacks in the future. Iran is also demanding certainty and assurance regarding compensation for war damages.

Additionally, Iran has put forward two significant geopolitical conditions: international recognition of Iran's authority in the Strait of Hormuz, and a comprehensive end to warfare on all fronts, including operations involving all of Iran's proxies in the Middle East region. Currently, the direction of conflict escalation heavily depends on how the United States will respond to these five counter-demands.
