Crypto Users Beware! Claude Code Exposed to Critical Vulnerability Exploited by Hackers. According to BlockBeats, security researcher Adam Chester discovered a serious security flaw in Anthropic Claude Code that allows malicious actors to execute arbitrary commands completely bypassing user verification. This vulnerability, numbered CVE-2025-64755, currently has publicly available proof-of-concept code circulating.

Security team SlowMist researcher 23pds pointed out that this type of security risk shares similar characteristics with the previously exposed vulnerability in Cursor code editor, representing a privilege escalation system flaw. Even more concerning, hackers have already begun exploiting this vulnerability for phishing activities, targeting cryptocurrency community users for malicious attacks.

For crypto users, this incident serves as a stark security warning. It is recommended to immediately review personal accounts, avoid entering sensitive information into untrusted tools, and stay updated on official security patches. These hacker activities once again remind the entire community to remain highly vigilant regarding third-party tools and to safeguard assets effectively.
