Why does it seem like young people are all very resistant to having children?

Their ideas are very different from the previous generation.
After all, when my parents' age, they already had their second child in their twenties.
But now, many friends around me say they never want to have kids in their lifetime.
They’re okay with getting married, but not with having children.
