The fact that a market is turning into a pure gambling industry actually proves that there are almost no other ways to make money in that market. These days, all projects are desperately trying to connect with the gambling industry. There is hardly any more profitable way to make money than gambling. In fact, gambling is more profitable than the sex industry or drugs.

Once a market starts making money through gambling, who would seriously participate in projects? And which project team would genuinely develop a product? From the project team's perspective, opening a gambling platform is easier than doing anything else, and from the retail investors' perspective, gambling is more attractive than anything else.
It used to be about futures, and now it's prediction markets. But fundamentally, futures and prediction markets are just different ways of gambling preferred by different people.
