A friend added a girl selling couplets on the roadside and invited her to lunch at noon.

Then they booked a restaurant for dining according to the girl’s preference.
Just as they sat down, the girl said: “I have a few relatives and friends who just happened to be nearby shopping, I want to call them over to have a meal together.”
The friend agreed, saying it’s not a bad idea to get to know them beforehand.
Within a few minutes, the relatives actually arrived, all of them girls.
Eight people just fit at one table. Ordering dishes was really generous—almost every dish was ordered once, totaling eighteen dishes.
A few minutes after ordering, the friend directly asked the girl: “Do you think we are in a romantic relationship now?”
The girl glanced at the friend and said, “Honestly, I don’t quite have a spark with you, not quite feeling it.
But if you perform well, I might consider it.”
Hearing this, the friend immediately said, “Forget it, I won’t interfere with your family gathering,” and he started to leave.
He immediately got up and left.
The girl was stunned and quickly grabbed him, saying, “You haven’t even bought your meal yet, why leave so early? Let’s eat a bit together.”
Why are you leaving so early?
The friend was both amused and speechless, saying, “Since we have no relationship at all, why should I pay for your relatives’ meal?”
And he just walked away.
The girl sat there with her relatives, looking like a fool.
