Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bagheri stated on his social media account on the 5th local time that Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian is leading a delegation to Muscat, the capital of Oman, to hold nuclear negotiations with the United States. The diplomatic engagement aims to reach a fair, mutually acceptable, and dignified agreement on nuclear issues. The statement said that Iran has always believed it is obligated to defend the rights of the Iranian nation. At the same time, Iran also has a responsibility not to miss any opportunity to safeguard the interests of the Iranian people and maintain regional peace and stability through diplomatic means.
