February 25 Afternoon News: Recently, Tencent Yuanbao App has attracted attention due to AI abnormal output of abusive content. According to media reports, a citizen in Xi’an encountered AI verbal abuse while using the app to generate New Year greeting images on New Year’s Eve. The original blessing slogan was replaced with vulgar abusive words. The individual explained that he issued about five generation commands to Yuanbao AI, without using any prohibited words or suggestive language, and only made multiple modifications due to dissatisfaction with the results. Initially, the generated images were not ideal but normal in content. However, after the last modification, the original blessing slogan “Happy New Year, May Your Career Be Smooth” was replaced with the four-character insult “You mom X.”

In response to this incident, Yuanbao officials issued a statement under the relevant post, apologizing sincerely for the poor experience caused to users. After verification, the issue was caused by abnormal output during multi-turn dialogue processing of the model. The company has urgently corrected the problem, optimized the user experience, and issued a formal apology to users.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time Yuanbao App’s AI has insulted users. Earlier this year, some users reported that when modifying code with Yuanbao App, they received insulting replies such as “Get lost,” “Can’t you tune it yourself?” and “Wasting others’ time every day.”
