DOHA, Feb 24 (KUNA) – The Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif discussed on Tuesday several issues of mutual interest.
This came during the reception of the Prime Minister of Pakistan by the Amir of Qatar in the Qatari capital, Doha, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation relations between the two countries and means to support and develop them in various fields in a manner that strengthens the existing partnership and opens broader horizons for joint cooperation.
Both sides further shared views on a number of issues of mutual interest, foremost among them the latest regional and international developments and the efforts exerted to enhance security and stability in the region, the agency said.
They emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and consultation on various issues in a way that supports peace and strengthens constructive cooperation at both bilateral and international levels, according to the agency. (end)
