Guangzhou will introduce support policies for sectors such as quantum technology

On February 25th, the Guangzhou High-Quality Development Conference was held. Xie Ming, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Guangzhou Science and Technology Bureau, stated at the meeting that promoting the mutual reinforcement of industrial and technological strengths should continue to focus on overall efficiency improvement. Xie Ming said that Guangzhou’s science and technology system will do its best to seize future industrial opportunities and strive to land more national disruptive innovation projects in Guangzhou. The city will introduce support policies for sectors such as quantum technology, plan to establish national technology innovation centers in fields like brain-computer interfaces and high-end scientific instruments, promote the implementation of 100 future industrial scenarios, and aim to become a national pioneer zone for future industries.
